With a heritage spanning over two decades, Brisbane company Distinctive Accessories is at the forefront of all things decorative and chic, an offer it will be driving to the Melbourne market at the Bags & Accessories Fair in late August.
Founded in 1988 by the Tennent family, the company designs, imports and distributes a broad range of bags, accessories and millinery across Australia and internationally. Director Andrew Tennent said the Melbourne edition of the Bags & Accessories Fair would see the company promoting an expanded range of scarves, in response to customer demand.
"Our scarf range has pretty much doubled since last year, with over 30 styles on offer. We anticipate our Pashminas will be particularly strong sellers."
Distinctive Accessories would also be showcasing a larger range of fascinators, with a new value offer at wholesale prices of around $7 to $13.
"In the current economic climate, we've found consumers are really demanding those value products," he said.
With products sourced direct from factories in Asia, Distinctive Accessories works with trusted suppliers to develop new styles and outstanding designs targeting the value to mid-market sector. Tennent said the upcoming Melbourne fair was an important part of Distinctive Accessories' calendar.
"Being Brisbane based, we find the Bags & Accessories Fair the best way to connect with the Melbourne market."
Distinctive Accessories will showcase its ranges at the Bags & Accessories Fair from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
