Revamped Fiorelli takes to the stands

29 June 2010

Home grown accessories brand Fiorelli will be showcasing a revamped collection at Fashion Exposed with the relaunch of the Fiorelli brand for the spring summer season.

Taking a new direction to target 18-24 year old women, the new ranges would be defined by on trend styling and a youthful aesthetic, creative manager Jane McGrath confirmed.

"Our new Fiorelli muse is into fashion, music and popular culture and she is passionate about accessories. Keeping up with the latest trends, friends, festivals and street style is number one for our girl."

Product for the summer season follows three key stories; March to a Beat, inspired by a military styling with indie, grunge elements; Delicate Romance, a feminine, pretty look; and Tropical Sport, taking 90s sporty street style as its inspiration.

Highlights of the collection include bold feature prints developed for Fiorelli by Melbourne artists, perforation patterning and innovative materials or elements such as neoprene, nylon, acrylic, oversize chains and straw weaves.

‘We have also placed greater focus on the functionality of our designs" said McGrath. "By giving our bags great internals and adjustable or removable straps we get a range of ways of wearing them. As a result the bags not only look great but are so easy to wear."

Key items in the range include the Sofia Studded Shoulder Bag, the Kendra Field Bag, the Eve Metallic Perforated Hobo, the Talia Backpack and the Lucy Neoprene Tote.

Fiorelli, a Capelle Group brand, will be on show at Fashion Exposed from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
